Biographical documentary about actor Anthony Quinn, from his childhood role as the main family provider following the death of his father through to his lengthy and illustrious Hollywood career. The programme includes clips from the films ‘La Strada’, ‘Lawrence of Arabia’, ‘Blood and Sand’, ‘The Guns of Navarone’ and ‘Zorba the Greek’ as well as interviews with Quinn himself and actors Julie Harris, Tony Franciosa, Gina Lollobrigida, Giulietta Masina, Giancarlo Giannini, directors Federico Fellini, Martin Ritt, J. Lee Thompson and Stanley Kramer, and Quinn’s children Valentina and Lorenzo.
