The Nutcracker: Mariinsky Ballet and Orchestra, Valery Gergiev Blu Ray –  

Live performance of the ballet, composed by Tchaikovsky, about a nutcracker doll that comes to life at the stroke of midnight. Valery Gergiev conducts the Mariinsky Orchestra, with the Mariinsky Ballet performing Vasily Vainonen’s choreography. The dancers include Alina Somova, Vladimir Shklyarov and Fyodor Lopukhov.
