One of the best known Philadelphia soul groups of the 1970s The Stylistics were originally made up of Airrion Love Herbert Murrell Russell Thompkins Jr James Dunn and James Smith. Much of their material has been covered by various artists in the succeeding years including Prince Sugababes Diana Ross Marvin Gaye Boyz II Men and Mary J Blige. Their popularity in the UK grew in the mid seventies when their single ‘You Make Me Feel Brand New’ reached #2 in the charts in 1974 and ‘Can’t Give You Anything (But My Love)’ topped the charts a year later.This DVD features 17 of their hits from ‘Betcha by Golly Wow’ to ‘I’m Stone In Love With You’.
